3/20/2021Rockets Acquire Brett Gustavsen
****TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT*** The Rockets are pleased to welcome Brett Gustavsen to the team following his acquisition from the West Carleton Rivermen Brett played his AAA Hockey in Mississauga for the Rebels recording 80 pts in 53 games in U16. In 2010 he was drafted by the Ottawa 67s in the 9th round of the OHL priority selection draft which led to a solid 4 year stint with Ottawa before moving to the Belleville Bulls in his final junior season. In 235 career OHL games Gustavsen recorded 141pts. Following the OHL Brett enrolled at Carleton University where he would serve as a vital part of that organizations leadership group and success! His first year in the EOSHL was spent with the West Carleton Rivermen who went to the league finals in 2019-2020. Welcome to North Dundas Brett, looking forward having you as part of our community in 2021-2022!

3/6/2021Fabian Walsh signs with Senior Rockets
THE ROCKETS WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME FABIAN WALSH TO NORTH DUNDAS FOR THE 2021-2022 EOSHL SEASON!!!!
Fabian spent his youth AAA hockey with the Ottawa 67's organization having a stand out season with the U18 team recording 36 pts in 28 games in his final minor hockey year.
Following minor hockey he jumped to the CCHL playing two and a half seasons with the Cumberland Grads tallying 41 goals and 64 assists for a 105pts. A trade midway through the 2011-2012 season lead him to the Kanata Stallions.
Walsh's final junior season was spent in Kanata where the success continued with 23 goals, 41 assists and 64 points in 62 regular season games.
After the CCHL Fabian moved on to play at Dalhousie University for 4 seasons recording 73 points before finishing his CIS hockey career back home in Ottawa with the Carleton University Ravens. In his final season he recorded 19 points in 28 games at Carleton.
Fabian produces at every level he plays; his skill, ability and character are welcomed additions to the Rockets organization.

2/27/2021Matt Jenkins Returning to Rockets
THE SENIOR ROCKETS ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT MATT JENKINS WILL BE RETURNING TO NORTH DUNDAS FOR THE 2021-2022 EOSHL SEASON!!
Matt began his junior career in the CCHL playing for the Brockville Braves in 2008-2009 and was named to the CCHL all- rookie team. While posting an impressive 9-1-1 record to start the 2009-2010 season he was traded to the Smith Falls Bears in an effort to shore up their goaltending position that season. He did not disappoint posting a 3.36 GAA with a 904 save percentage following the move. In 2011-2012 Matt Joined the Conrwall Colts back stopping them to a 7-4-1 record while posting a 2.84 GAA.
Following Cornwall, the North Dundas Rockets Junior team welcomed Matt for the last half of the 2012-2013 season where he brought life to a young junior franchise in Chesterville.
His final four years were spent with the Carleton University Ravens, an organization in which Matt still coaches with today.

2/20/2021Brodie Barkley Continues with Rockets Organization
CHESTERVILLE NATIVE BRODIE BARKLEY TO JOIN NORTH DUNDAS SENIOR ROCKETS HOCKEY CLUB FOR THE 2021-2022 SEASON!!
Brodie grew up in the North Dundas community; and played AAA hockey for the Upper Canada Cyclones hockey program. Following minor hockey he was drafted #14 overall in 2013 by the Pembroke Lumber Kings.
His junior career began in Morrisburg with the Lions before moving down the 401 to play two seasons for the Prescott Flyers. In 2017-2018 Brodie chose to come home and play his final 3 seasons with his home town junior team, the Rockets.
In three Seasons Brodie played in key role on the blue line recording 53pts in 76 games and helped lead the franchise in a couple of great playoffs runs. He was also named captain in his final season with the juniors
Brodie is an elite skater that brings 100% percent effort into every game he plays. He has a passion for hockey that is truly admirable.

2/14/2021Bradley Stitt to join Senior Rockets in 2021-2022
WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT FORMER JUNIOR ROCKETS CAPTAIN BRAD STITT WILL BE JOINING THE SENIOR TEAM IN THE 2021-2022 SEASON!!
Brad is a North Dundas resident who played his local minor hockey for the RSL Kings and Upper Canada Cyclones associations. He was drafted by the Carleton Place Canadians #21 overall in the 2012 CCHL draft.
A 200 ft hockey player that plays with tenacity, skill and leadership; Brad won an Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey Championship with the Casselman Vikings in 2014-2015. He then spent a couple season in the PCJHL with the Simcoe Storm & Dundas Blues while attending school before finally returning home to play his final two junior seasons with the Rockets.
#16 recorded 80 points in 64 games with the junior Rockets and was named Captain in his final season with the team.
Welcome to the senior team Brad, and thanks for your continued support and leadership within our program. Players like you are the reason we've been successful.

2/6/2021Zach Porier Signs with Senior Rokets
ZACH PORIER SIGNS WITH SENIOR ROCKETS FOR THE 2021-2022 season
Zach is a North Dundas resident who was the #14 overall pick the in 2014 OHL Priority Selection draft by the Brampton Battalion
He played his minor hockey for the Upper Canada Cyclones AAA program prior to his five year OHL career.
Zach played three years for the Battalion; two and a half years with the Guelph Storm before being traded to the Owen Sound Attack in his final season for the playoffs. It is also important to note that Zach was an assistant captain on all three of the OHL franchises he played with.
in 2015-16 Zach was a member of the Team Canada U-17 team that took home the Gold medal at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
In 2019-2020 he was also a member the University of Guelph that were OUA Queen's Cup Champions
The North Dundas Rockets would like to thank Zach for his support!

2/1/2021Derek Froats signs with Senior Rockets
Derek is a Chesterville native who was the #45 overall pick in the 2008 OHL Priority Selection draft.
He played two and a half seasons for the Frontenacs and was named an assistant captain heading into the 2011-2012 season.
Derek finished out his OHL career with the Brampton Battalion before moving on to play CIS with St. Thomas University and finally with the Carleton University Ravens.
The Rockets will be looking to him as a leader moving into their inaugural season in the EOSHL. Welcome to the team Froatsy!
